Suburban Sightings, tempera and acrylic on wall-panel, 220 cm x 250 cm, 2022

This work captures the eclectic nature of the human experience, highlighting the simultaneity of contradicting states such as turmoil and joy. This existentialistic nature is encapsulated in the various tragically-comic (and comically-tragic) narratives pervading the landscape. By disregarding a linear narrative structure in favour for isolated occurrences, the artist simultaneously conveys both the vast differences and distinct similarities of our collective experiences.
